Have you ever thought about modify the name or changing the icon of an application on your android phone or create a shortcut to it?
In this article we will discuss how to create shortcuts or change their icons to other styles to customize your android smartphone. for this purpose we will need to install an application from google play store called QuickShortcutMaker.
The QuickShortcutMaker app can create and customize a shortcut to an application from the list of android apps which are installed on your cell and change its style icon. QuickShortcutMaker serves also like search engine to find and launch an application which you want to launch.
Once this android app installed on your mobile just you choose the application or activity which you want to customize it and select to modify its name or change its icon. In the following image you can see us trying to customize the Google Plus icon.

For Launcher3 of Cyanogenmod
If you cannot create shortcut, please try the following steps:
1. Long-tap the home screen.
2. Tap "WIDGETS".
3. Long-tap "Activities" which has the QuickShortcutMaker's icon.
4. Drag it to somewhere on the screen.
5. QuickShortcutMaker will be launched.
6. Select an activity, edit it, and tap "Create".
7. A shortcut will be created on the home screen.
